SH-39 closure planned next week between Collins Road and US-26 in Blackfoot

ITD will be improving the approaches to the railroad crossing on S.H. 39 in Blackfoot.

Beginning Monday the Idaho Transportation Department will close State Highway 39 between West Collins Road and U.S. Highway 26 to repair the roadway at the Union Pacific railroad crossing on SH-39. A detour will be in place from Monday 7 a.m. until Thursday to allow crews to improve the approaches to the railroad. This work will bring the roadway up to the railroad tracks to smooth the transitions.
